Serena Malkani will lead us through a voice-activating meditation to develop a deeper connection with our voices and how we use them. You will also learn simple tuning exercises that can help calm the nervous system within minutes. After the meditation, Serena will teach us some powerful ancient self-care rituals derived from the 5000-year-old Indian system of natural medicine, Ayurveda. You will also discover your dosha - your unique ayurvedic mind-body type. Serena will leave us with easy-to-implement daily rituals that balance your dosha and enhance your wellness routine.Serena Malkani, M.A. is an internationally recognized sound ritualist and clinical Ayurvedic advisor. Serena’s mission is to bring awareness to ancient Eastern practices and how they complement and enhance the Western approach to wellness. She integrates her psychology expertise with the medicinal qualities of Sound, Ayurveda, and Yoga to develop long-term preventative healthcare rituals. Serena currently offers private training to psychedelic-assisted therapists and other health practitioners on how to implement voice-based healing tools into client sessions. Nidhi (Niv) Patel will lead a yoga session to deepen the energy practice. Niv is, above all, a dedicated student of yoga. For two years, she led Liberation Flow, a donation-based POC yoga collective in Seattle, with the mission of reclaiming the spiritual roots of yoga. Over the past five years, Niv has taught a variety of yoga styles and workshops, each designed to help participants deepen their understanding of yoga. Influenced by her training in vinyasa and yin yoga and her vipassana practice, Niv’s approach to yoga encourages students to engage with the spiritual dimensions of the practice.
Soma Phoenix, owner of PsillyGirls will lead our cacao ceremony and a cannabis circle. Soma Phoenix is a dedicated professional in psychedelic research and integration consultancy. Founder of www.psillygirls.com, she fosters community and spiritual support for those exploring psychedelic experiences. With expertise as a Psychedelic Herbalist, Soma guides transformative journeys using plant medicines. Additionally, her proficiency in Functional Mushrooms and Nootropics allows her to tailor approaches for mental health and cognitive enhancement. As part of the People of Color Psychedelic Society, Soma is helping to reclaim and highlight the legacy of sacred mushrooms and their use by healers in Huautla de Jimenez, Mexico.
